Nicely done and the café invites you to drink traditional East Frisian tea.
The emergence and industrial use of the moors / Fehn is presented in an impressive way, also for the "layman". The exhibited devices and machines, a highlight for the technically interested visitor. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We recommend!
Very good presentation on everything to do with the moor!
It is interesting to learn something new about old things from the past. This is the fourth time I've been here. A visit is always worthwhile.
Well done, informative museum.
A very interesting, well-arranged museum which shows everything about the moor, the history of the first moor settlers and peat extraction from the beginning to the present day. Very nice courteous staff at the front desk. There is also a great cafe with delicious food and drinks.
Great museum, and so inexpensive. You can walk through a bog basin.
A small fine and very informative museum about peat and life and work. Touching some of the exhibits is also allowed. The technology park in good condition and good descriptions. You can also have a delicious homemade cake in the coffee shop next door.
Nice little museum. Friendly staff. The tea room is very nice too.
Very nice museum that tells a lot about the history of peat and its extraction. A lot can be touched and touched.
Nice museum for the mining of the peat, as well as the machines used. Also from life in Saterland.
The moor and fen museum is an absolute highlight in the region. A great museum that is housed in 2 buildings. In addition, there is a great moor teaching garden, a moor treading pool and an outdoor area with large machines from peat extraction. Highly Recommended.
A really very nice museum where everything really fits. From the parking lot to the friendly staff and of course a very informative indoor and outdoor exhibition. Absolutely recommendable as well as the nice museum coffee!
A nice, informative museum. Attractive for children and adults alike.
Really very nice there. The small tea room next to the museum is also highly recommended ... delicious cakes ... mega-large pieces
Very nice museum and an interesting story.
Very nicely set up, we were pretty early since 12 o'clock was not much going on, we enjoyed the quiet and would go back.
Very interesting and nicely constructed museum. The bog is fun. Water and towels are available.
We had a great tour of the museum where you could see and learn a lot (questions were answered). You can also touch or try a lot. You get a good idea of how life was in the moor then and how the villages were created. The entrance fee of 3 Eur plus the cost of the tour are in my opinion absolutely fine. We will visit the museum again. This time without a guide to foresee a thing even longer.
nice little museum
Very interesting and informative .. A small cafe is next to it
It's an absolute place to watch how history has preserved himself from before ages.. History about this canal and hardships people have to face for the upcoming future generation.. M in love with history since than..
